1958
Ahmet Ortakcı served as III. between 1958 and 1961. During the construction of the Turkish Grand National Assembly building and the application of its furniture, he started to work in the sector as an apprentice, and in this way, he began to shape his own adventure by developing the furniture production and application techniques he learned from German masters. Starting from this year, Ahmet Ortakcı started manufacturing wood paint with the materials he procured from a powder paint manufacturer with whom he collaborated in Istanbul Grand Bazaar, and took this adventure to a whole new dimension with the establishment of Özen Kardeşler Mobilya company in 1965. Over the years, we have come to this day with the principle of innovation and renewal.
1965
The branding journey, which we can consider as the first steps of Nill's Mobilya, started in Ankara in 1965. Our founder Ahmet Ortakçı, who stepped from apprenticeship to mastery after his experiences in the production of Turkish Grand National Assembly furniture, his skills in furniture paint production and his reputation in the market in these fields, started this year under the name of Özen Kardeşler; It started manufacturing in the axis of paint, polish and home furniture. Afterwards, Özen Brothers; It formed the basis of Nill's Mobilya, which has turned into a giant operation whose tomorrow we plan from yesterday.
1965 – 1980
Ahmet Ortakcı, who discovered his passion; By rapidly increasing commercial cooperation in the Istanbul, İnegöl and Ankara axis, he was giving direction and discovery beyond his scope. İnegöl district of Bursa had an important place in these activities. Collaborations with furniture makers in İnegöl became more and more on Ahmet Ortakçı's agenda over the years, because the logistics advantages in İnegöl, the proximity of raw materials and the increasingly qualified workforce showed that furniture manufacturing in this city would increase.
1980
In 1980, Mr. Ahmet shifted her investments to İnegöl and founded a new company called Nil Mobilya, where she started manufacturing classical style home furniture.
1982
In 1980, Mr. Ahmet shifted his investments to İnegöl and in order to gain awareness in terms of the correct display and presentation of the products produced as a result of the production investments made in İnegöl with the Nill's Mobilya brand, in 1982, apart from traditional marketing, he took the first step into contemporary merchandising. The store has been opened.
1986
We see that Ahmet Ortakcı started to transform the organization into a family company during these years. Carrying out the work together with his son Aziz Ortakcı ensures that in-house activities are more controllable and trackable. By 1996, Aziz Ortakcı started to manage the institution in a more organized manner, gaining Ahmet Ortakcı's trust in him for the future, and this was one of the biggest steps that would completely change the future of the brand.
1996
When the calendar showed 1996, Aziz Ortakcı took over the entire business and the company was successfully passed on to the second generation. During this 10-year period, Ahmet Ortakcı transferred all his knowledge and experience to Aziz Ortakcı, and Aziz Bey demonstrated the pleasure and curiosity he felt in furniture production with the innovations he brought to the sector. Anticipating that world trends would move towards a more innovative and integrated orientation in their journey dating back to the 2000s, a comprehensive furniture production was initiated. Our production line has transformed into a much faster, professional and corporate structure compared to previous years.
2001
Aziz Ortakcı took his first steps in terms of export by participating in domestic fairs that provide the opportunity to make international sales. It was a great advantage to exhibit its designs at fairs and connect with potential customers. It rapidly expanded its export activities and managed to exist in these markets by establishing connections with retail furniture selling companies in different countries. The company, which attaches great importance to customer satisfaction, has gained the trust of its customers with its pre-sales and after-sales services and has come to represent Turkey in the best way in the international furniture industry.
2006
Aziz Ortakçı's innovative ideas, energy, being a young entrepreneur and taking over the flag as the second generation signaled that this process has entered a new era and more exciting adventures will begin. Aziz Ortakcı managed to position his company in the industry by establishing the Nill's Furniture Design brand and turning it into an innovative and leading furniture company. It managed to attract the attention of consumers in a short time with its new modern wooden collections, inspiring advertising campaigns and impressive store concepts. The company decided to implement a modern production facility in line with its growth and development targets. This new production facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment on an area of twelve thousand square meters. Furniture produced using high quality materials was offered to the market faster and more precisely in this modern production facility. The creations prepared by famous designers helped to develop even more creative and innovative products with the opportunities provided by the new factory. Thus, the first collection under the Nill's brand was created. Original and stylish designs that exceed customers' expectations were showcased and launched for the first time at the Istanbul Furniture Fair, along with the new brand investment.
2009
Continuing his initiatives without interruption, Aziz Ortakcı increased the factory area to fifteen thousand square meters and completed his investment in a new sofa production facility with the aim of producing all home furniture in-house. The establishment of this factory and modern production processes ensured that workmanship and technology progressed in perfect harmony. As a result of the integrated work of the panel furniture, paint line and armchair production facility, the collections have now begun to turn into a complete concept.
2011
The continuity of family businesses is usually ensured by the involvement of new generations in company management. This contributes to the development and innovative perspective of the company, while also helping to preserve family values and heritage. The inclusion of the third generation within the company can be an important step in achieving its long-term strategy and investment goals. In 2011, while Fatih Ortakcı continued his education, he also started to work in certain departments of the company and experienced the experience of working with the second generation and the third generation for the first time this year.
2014
In order to increase its seat production capacity, Nill's has established a new seat factory additional facility due to the intensification of current demands. The reflection of this new factory in total volume increased the factory to 20,000 square meters of closed area on a square meter basis. The investments made have been supported by the company's factory construction and state-of-the-art machinery, making the products both more compliant with international standards and more convenient to meet current demands.
2016

With the investment in MRP / ERP systems, the strategic foundations of the company in production, retailing and institutionalization were laid. System operation was completed and developed between 2013 and 2016. İnegöl Mobiliyum store, opened in 2015, was determined as the pilot area of the investments to be made in retailing. As of 2016, store structuring started throughout Turkey.
2018 – 2023
While the branding and institutionalization journey brought together many disciplines, other members of the third generation, Yusuf Ortakcı (2018) and Interior Architect Ahmet Ortakcı (2023), joined the company. In addition, the first foreign direct investment store, which is one of the biggest steps in retail investments, was opened in the Albania / Tirana region. This store has been determined as the pilot store of the company's ongoing overseas store investments. For this reason, in line with the decision taken as of 2023, it led to the start of store investments in the cities of Constanta and Craiova in Romania, which will be opened in 2024. As of today, the company has exclusive sales points in 17 areas, including the planned stores. It has developed export regions in more than 30 different countries where it has active sales. He has completed more than 10 5 star hotel projects. Currently in a position that attaches great importance to the branding process. By improving its vision in the future, it is moving forward determinedly to become one of the most important furniture brands in Türkiye and the world.
2024
With the 3rd generation of Nill's Furniture managers taking over, the strategy of opening up to international markets represents an important step in the company's growth and development journey. This strategy demonstrates the brand's goal of becoming a global player. The store opened in Albania was the beginning of this process. Nill's has taken serious steps in foreign trade by entering the European market. Subsequently, two new stores opened in Romania further strengthened Nill's Mobilya's presence in Europe and contributed to its international growth.
